While it is not necessary, we recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our professional consultants as they will gladly assist you with any questions you may have. They can also guide you in your journey based on your preferences.

Where and when will I have my consultation?

You will have an opportunity to select a day and time that works for you when you fill out the consultation form. A My Lineage professional consultant will then connect with you online to help you with any questions and assist in your selection of your heirloom piece.

Should I have conducted research already?

No, you will learn more about our professional historians’ research during your consultation. They will do all the work for you.

What is the My Lineage process?

  1. Our 5-step process begins with a 20-minute personal consultation aimed at gathering your input and ideas and understanding your specific needs.
  2. During this consultation, we finalize your product selection based on your preferences, setting up your access to your My Lineage account where you can monitor the progress and customization of your order.
  3. Our expert historians then explore trusted and credible resources to gather the historical details that make your family’s story unique and to uncover your family coat of arms.
  4. Following the research phase, our skilled craftsmen step in to handcraft your one-of-a-kind heirloom, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Each embroidery is meticulously hand-stitched, and every piece of metalwork is custom-made, resulting in a unique piece of handcrafted history.
  5. Finally, prior to mailing your order, we conduct a final quality inspection to ensure it aligns with our standards and your expectations. Your handcrafted family heirloom is then carefully packaged and delivered to your doorstep, marking the end of your journey with My Lineage.

How do I setup my online account?

If you’ve placed an order with us, then your online account has already been set up for you. You can easily access it through the free My Lineage app. Follow the steps below to stay in total control of your account.

How can I track the progress of my order?

By logging into your account through the My Lineage app, you can track your order status at every stage of production, monitor payment progress, and receive your tracking number once the order has shipped.

How can I update my shipping address or change my account information?

To update your account information, simply log in to your account through our user-friendly My Lineage app. From the ‘Account’ page, click on the ‘Update Shipping Address’ button.

Aside from updating your account information, the app allows you to:

  • Connect with our support team

I have not received any email updates; what should I do?

If you haven’t received your personalized updates via email, you can access them through your personal account on the free My Lineage app, available on both the App Store and Google Play.

We send all updates to the email provided when placing your order. If you’re not receiving emails, they may be directed to the wrong email folder or there might be a typo in the email address provided.

Will I be able to see my coat of arms before my order is produced?

Yes, your digitized coat of arms will be uploaded to your online account for your review with a full explanation of all its symbols and colors.

How do I display my banner?

To display your banner, unscrew the ends of the brass rod to insert the banner and the cord’s loops. Once inserted, securely screw the ends back on. If your set includes a sword, it’s customary to hang the banner from the heritage sword.

How do I cancel my order?

We kindly ask that all cancellations be submitted in writing (email, fax, or via the U.S. Postal Service) in accordance with our Cancellation Policy. Please notify us of your cancellation request in writing; otherwise, we will proceed with your order.

What is my remaining balance?

Your remaining balance and payment progress can be viewed by logging into your account through the My Lineage app. Simply log in to your account and, from the ‘Account’ page, click on the ‘Payments Remaining’ button.

Aside from reviewing your remaining balance, the app allows you to:

  • Track your order’s progress
  • Read your personalized updates

If I pay in full now, when will I receive my order?

If you pay in full now, your order will be processed and delivered within 6-8 weeks after the final payment has been made. This timeframe allows us to ensure the high level of customization and quality associated with our products, which are imported from Europe. Should you have any specific requirements or need expedited processing, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Can you send me a picture of my completed order?

In your My Lineage account, you can view a sample picture of the package you ordered under the ‘My Orders’ page, providing an idea of how your package will look. However, as your order is custom-made, we cannot provide an exact image of the one you will receive. Nonetheless, the sample photo and your coat of arms, which will be uploaded to your My Lineage account, will offer a clear representation of your finished product.

If I do not see the product I am looking for on your website, am I able to make a custom order if I tell you exactly what I am looking for?

Absolutely! We are here to serve you and will do our best to accommodate your request. If you do not see a product on the site that you have been looking for, you can always call our toll-free customer service line at 1-800-868-9405 to speak to a customer service representative who can assist you. We will gladly look into your request and do our best to make it happen.

My family coat of arms ring just arrived and it doesn’t fit. What can I do?

We will gladly resize your ring within 30 days of delivery at no cost to you. After the initial 30 days, we can still have your ring resized, however, a fee may apply.

Please note that any repair work done outside of our factory will void this 30-day warranty.

What is a family crest?

This heraldic term crest refers to just one component of a complete ‘achievement’. The crest has evolved from the three-dimensional figure placed on the top of the helmet as a further means of identification. The crest rests atop the helmet, which in turn rests on the most important part of the achievement: the shield. The crest is a common adjunct of the shield and consists of any object or objects placed above it. When shown above the shield, the crest normally arises out of a wreath made of twisted ribbons in the two principal tinctures of the shield. Crests do not always accompany the shield, as they are not a required addition.
